From our Chairman:
Hi! LMA is much more than just a role to me. It is something I genuinely care about, and I want to see it continue to grow and improve. As Chairman and Acting Head of Administration, I do my best to make LMA a place where our team members can learn, gain experience, and enjoy being part of something meaningful.
In my position, I work to ensure our organisation develops in the correct direction, and strives to be the top in its field. I’m always amazed at how far we have come, being the co-founder of LMA, I really do take immense pride and joy in noticing the remarkable change and improvement LMA has gone through over the many years since its first establishment.
I endeavour to ensure that every student, visitor, parent and child has the ability to discover the amazing world of literature, and libraries. I’m always ready to take book recommendations (and perhaps tea recommendations too!). I do like earl grey tea :)

There are many ways to become part of our work. You may be interested in joining our team, supporting LMA as a volunteer or community member, or exploring how your school or library could work with us.
Our team members help operate and develop libraries, support readers and create welcoming spaces for their communities. Volunteers and other members of our wider community contribute to events, projects and activities, while schools and library teams can work with us to develop, support or operate their library.
