Are you a School or Community Library? We'd love to work with you!
We as LMA were founded with the purpose of helping our fellow libraries and schools in providing the valuable gift of information access and reading to students, staff, patrons, and anyone who is a part of the local community.
Founded at the British School Muscat by two passionate students, now in two different schools and with more than 40 staff members, we are honoured to work with many libraries in our effort to promote library accessibility and ease of access for all.
Working with LMA provides libraries with valuable resources, such as our specialised cataloguing, wayfinding, and signage systems, including specialised services involving the re-cataloguing and optimisation of your library's collection and services.
We provide all our services free of charge to every library, as we believe that libraries should be given a chance to improve and reach their communities without having to invest in expensive software or audits.
Services & Solutions
Further services, such as library accessibility inspections and catalogue efficiency inspections, are available as more advanced services. These include the establishment of a fully LMA-Operated Library or an LMA Partner Library.
We would be more than happy to reach out to you regarding the possibility of partnering with your library, whether through becoming LMA-Operated or LMA-Accredited.

Yes, we are! We do come across as very professional and formal, which usually leaves people thinking we're a full-on company; however, we aren't! We take things seriously, and our student-run approach allows us to really tailor student-facing services, as we ourselves are students.

No, we don't own the libraries we operate, and we probably wouldn't want to! We are specifically a library operator, meaning that the library itself and its collection remain the responsibility of your organisation. However, the services and guest relations of that library, such as book cataloguing and library systems, are handled by LMA. Schools remain responsible for their own libraries and students..
