Clubs & Enrichment

A Welcome From Our Enrichment Coordinator

Photo placeholder for the LMA Enrichment Coordinator

My name is Niloofar Bayati, and I am a staff member at Olson Family Library by LMA, where I lead storytime and nursery rhyme sessions for children aged 2 to 8.

Reading together helps children develop language and communication skills, spark their imagination, build confidence, and discover the joy of learning. Our reading club offers a warm and welcoming space where children can listen to stories, play, explore, and make new friends, while parents can connect with one another and share in their children’s growth.

As a mother, I have experienced firsthand the positive impact of early exposure to books. My four-year-old daughter has been joining me at the library since she was one, and today she loves books and the library.

I feel very fortunate to share my love of books, children, and play with our community. My hope is that every child leaves storytime with a smile, a new story in their heart, and the beginning of a lifelong love of reading.

No, all our clubs and programmes are offered free-of-charge to our community.

That's completely normal, and our Enrichment team is used to it. Children are always welcome to simply watch and listen for as many sessions as they need before joining in, our staff are trained to involve students in any way possible, even if it divulges from the actual programme itself, we will ensure that every child is included. There's never any pressure to participate.
