A Reading Club for Children Aged 2-8
Our Stay & Play session is a relaxed and open club, part of our Enrichment Programmes, aimed at enabling young, curious minds, to unleash themselves in the comfort of our libraries.
This programme consists of free play, before transitioning into a storytime in which our Enrichment Coordinator will read stories and nursery rhimes to children, constantly encouraging them to get involved throughout the way.
Parents are invited to relax and enjoy complimentary Coffee and Tea.
What to Expect
Each session is unstructured by design. Children are free to move between the toy corner, the picture books, and the lounge at their own pace, whilst parents and carers chat, swap tips, and keep an eye on the little ones. There's no need to stay for the whole session, and you're welcome to drop in whenever suits your schedule.
