Volunteering Days give parents, children, carers, and members of the community a chance to get hands-on with their LMA library, from shelving books to helping scan and catalogue books.
What's inside our Volunteering Days?
Volunteers are given a quick walkthrough on how the day will go, then, our staff will guide volunteers to different "stations" in which various activities can be carried out, such as: Book Re-Shelving, Scanning, Repairing, and Processing.
