At the Library / Book Borrowing Regulations & Advisories

What to know before borrowing books:

Your LMA Library follows a standard set of borrowing times, regulations, and visitor advisories to ensure a safe, organised, and welcoming environment for all guests.

We kindly invite all visitors to review the information below to better understand our library policies, borrowing procedures, and general guidelines during their visit. These regulations are designed to support a respectful and comfortable experience for every member of the library community.

Borrowing Lengths:

Students in Primary School may borrow 2 books for 1 week

Students in Lower Secondary School may borrow 3 books for 2 weeks

Students in Upper Secondary School / Sixth Form may borrow 5 books for 3 weeks

Borrowing Regulations:

Guests must return books at the correct return dates, and no more than that.
Damaged books that have been returned will result in the person being restricted from borrowing books for a certain time, however, they may still visit the library.
Lost books must be reported to a member of library staff, and the price of the book must be paid to facilitate for the losses.
